Identify the training needs of employees on the job by accompanying them on the job on a specific skill.
Assess employees on the job by using the standard assessment forms.
Establishes relationships and networks across a broad range of people, work units, functional groups and organizational levels; working effectively with others to achieve common goals; exercising effective interpersonal influence.
Detects performance gaps by constantly reviewing all departments performance and helps others to close performance gaps between actual and the standard; helping line managers, supervisors and employees to find those differences and use that information to close a performance gap at present and future.
Ensures that training is evaluated at reaction, learning and on-the job change levels.
Ensure results of training evaluation is communicated to and discussed with line managers.
Uses existing or new technology and different types of hardware and software to enhance the overall effectiveness and efficiency of training delivery.
Plans, organizes and monitors on –the- job training programs.
Maintains a list of training material and equipment that is on his custody.
Ensures that no unnecessary costs are incurred and that expenditures are in line with the training budget.
Seeks ways to constantly improve the quality and effectiveness of the training program.
To report monthly activities.
Recruitment – overseas. Filling of positions within the designated area and keep relevant management apprised of developments and ETA on new appointees by circulating the weekly recruitment report.
Recruitment – Local. On receipt of approved requisitions for budgeted staff, start the recruitment process: reference job specification – man profile, advertising, sourcing, interviewing.
Forecasting. Liase with various functions in the business and assess the future need of Personnel and be able to do appropriate forecasting. This should be in line with the Budgeted requirements and also take care of the business need. Assisting the management in achieving the Localization targets.
Induction of New employees. Make new staff aware of the customs practices and laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and also the company policies with regard to discipline, working hours, safety and medical facilities, introducing them to appropriate personnel.
Provide required manpower to support business activities by complying with localisation requirements.
Ensure suitability of candidates by screening and approving them before final selection.
Assist departments to obtain their required staff.
Ensure that existing manpower is as per budget by reviewing manpower status on monthly basis.
Source candidates for local requirement by co-ordinating with recruitment agencies/advertising on newspapers and so on.
Facilitate arrival of foreign employees by co-ordinating with external agencies and Logistics personnel.
