We are hiring for the position of Manager, Information Services.
The work and what it looks like…
You will act as a core member of the library management team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Reading Room and the collaborative planning and implementation of next-generation library services, managing the information services team members, providing guidance on work distribution and processes, establishing and monitoring team best practices and assessment measures to ensure service quality.
Being a supervisor, you will be conducting appraisals, mentoring, training and, building and sustaining a manager team-oriented approach.
Managing core team activities such as outreach and liaison activities across the university with other stakeholders. Providing research consultations, teaching, and systematic reviews, participating where required, managing the process of identifying and coordinating Training & Professional Development activities.
Working with the Director and other Library managers to create and revise policies and procedures as appropriate, participating in long-term departmental planning, and development of reports.
